Your event’s budget and the scale of what you want done will play a big role in planning. How extravagant do you envision it? How many guests will be attending? What vendors will be hired? Are you thinking of a large event or something more intimate? Most importantly, what is your overall maximum budget? These are all key questions to consider when you meet with a planner.
Event planners work in different ways, each with their own schedules. Generally, it's more reasonable for most planners to create and execute a flawless, successful event within two to six months of planning. The most important factor to consider first and foremost is the venue.
Some planners also offer Micro-Weddings (Pop-up Weddings), which are simpler and quicker to set up. These can often be done within a week or two. Just be sure to ask the planner you're speaking with about their options and timelines.
